2016 FIJI DAY THANKS GIVING CHURCH SERVICE

The Fijian Community Association Victoria acknowledges the work of the hardworking committee of the Fiji Day Thanksgiving Service and also to the Trinity Uniting Church, Dandenong for allowing us the use of their Church premises for our worship. We are blessed and proud to announce that the Church Service will now be held at Dandenong, details are as follows:

We are all asked to bring cooked food so that we can share with our guests from Fiji who are going to be with us at this welcoming service after competing at the Melbourne International Sevens on the day.

FIRST FIJIAN COMMUNITY INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICE PROVED SUCCESSFUL

 

The Fijian Community Association Victoria (FCAV) would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the Inter-denominational church service held on the 24th of January, 2015. We sincerely appreciated your interest to attend the service as the bible says that the Body of Christ is made up of "everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord (Acts 2:21). Your attendance has encouraged and uplifted us to continue this journey for a worthy cause.

The mission of FCAV is to be the virtual center of providing community support services that will enhance and empower the quality of life of all Fijians living in Victoria (irrespective of religious affiliation, age, ethnic background, sexuality etc) through education, healthy living, spiritual development and income stability.

Thank you brother Jotame Ratabua for the inspirational message and word or God, the CMF praise and worship team and the western surburbs choir led by Tony Lagicere.

INVITATION TO THE FCAV FIRST INTER-DENOMINATIONAL SERVICE

 

Dear FCAV Members, Friends and Families,

The Fiji Community Association Victoria would like to extend an open invitation to you all to our 1st Inter-denominational service which will be held on Saturday 24th January, 2015 at 6pm, at the Oakleigh Anglican Church, Lower Hall, corner of Dandenong and Warrigal Roads, Chadstone. (Entrances from Dandenong or Warrigal road).

This inter-denominational service is a first step and also an opportunity for all churches to come together in unity without a denomination affiliation, and worship our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your participation and attendance will remind us all Fijian Christians living in Melbourne that Christians consists of people from a variety of denominational backgrounds all serving our Lord Jesus Christ.

Refreshments will be provided after the church service.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

REVEREND TEPOLA RAICEBE TO LEAD THE SPIRITUAL AND HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT

Talatala Tepola Raicebe from the New Life Wesleyan Methodist Church is a Committee member that looks after the Spiritual and Holistic Development arm of the Fijian Community Association Victoria.

The Association welcomes suggestions and ideas from Church leaders, Youth leaders and other senior Church elders who are keen in working together with Talatala Tepola in the provision of Spiritual and Holistic development of members of our community.
